Our Story
Born and raised in Rockhampton, Dianne comes from a large family with business in their blood so being an entrepreneur in business was inevitable for her. Her father owned two large electrical retail stores, and her Uncle was the Mayor so growing up she understood the importance of good work ethics, perseverance, facing challenges and having a positive can-do attitude.
After moving with her family to the Sunshine Coast at 13 years of age, she then started a family of her own in her early twenties, and also established herself in a 7-year career in Real Estate which proved to be very rewarding. Raising her 3 children who are now all young adults, Dianne started up and ran an Importing Wholesale business that distributed Australia wide via Trade Fairs. This was another success under her belt and a huge learning curve when the GFC hit.
Putting herself through university as a single mum, she started to do domestic cleans to enable her to be able to work around University and her daughter’s schooling.
Now having completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business majoring in Supply Chain Management, Dianne is not one to shy away from a challenge and has built Divine up to the successful company we see today.
She attributes her success to being taught good solid foundations in business and having her immediate and extended family as mentors throughout her life. “My father’s office was full of quotes before quotes were even popular. He always had an affirmation written on his mirror. If I went to him with a problem he would say, ‘Ok, we know that’s the problem, so what’s the solution? ‘ – which taught me to not throw the towel in and look outside the box to come up with strategies and be solution based throughout my life”.
Using her degree, previous life/business experience and the strong foundations of her upbringing Dianne has put this all together offering her client’s integrity, solutions and strategies to their situations and ensuring the cleaning job is tailored to the requirements needed, which gives satisfaction to her valued clients.
